Things have been incredibly busy around here for about the last 6 months. Thus resulting in no blog posts. (that is my excuse anyways.) So here is hopefully a quick recap. (in no specified order) Aliyah is now 7 soon to be 8 months old. Sitting, crawling, smiling, laughing, and just an all around amazing baby. Who is doing things much sooner than I would like her to be. she also now has 3 teeth.
Austin Got to start school (late) after a long battle of pushing and pushing to get the school district to do all the things that they were supposed to be working on 6 months previous to that. The kids are now going to daycare in Pleasant Grove due to me getting moved up to an Area Manager, And having the opportunity to work much closer to home. (YAY) The kids are loving the new arrangements. Larry picks them up and they get to spend a few hours with him before I get home. Best of all we get to have more time with them than we ever have. Austin also gets to ride a bus to and from school every day. It is so cute watching him be such a big boy going to school with his little back pack.
Austin some how learned to do this hilarious cowboy walk. So Larry saw it fit to hook him up with the appropriate gear.
We finally got around to taking the kids to the Zoo. Where they had baby giraffe's,tigers, leopards, and our favorite the baby elephant. Austin loved the first hour and then crashed. Aliyah surprisingly had more fun than anyone. Larry got to full fill his dream of riding a carousel. Aliyah loved that as well. And I had a blast watching it all. We also took Austin to Lagoon with us this year.He got to ride a ton of rides. Which allowed me to test out the weight limit on the kids rides, apparently they can hold a lot not of them broke on me. He absolutely loved every minute of it.
We bought a boat. It is an older boat but is still a blast. We did get to take it out a few times before it got too cold. Both of the kids love going out on it.
That is pretty much what has kept us occupied for the summer and fall.
Here is a slide show of it all.
